This spectacular resort, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is set in 128 acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The resort is only 40 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport and 60 minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport. A daily scheduled complimentary shuttle bus service is available to and from Dubai.
The resort has an 800 metre private beach with a total of 406 rooms. There are 262 rooms in the main hotel comprising golfview rooms and sea view rooms. There are also 15 large superior golfview rooms located on the 5th floor. The six low rise units of Royal Palm Tree Court comprise 144 deluxe rooms. All rooms have direct-dial telephone, satellite television with Arabic channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, mini-bar, safe deposit box, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers. All rooms in the main hotel have viewing balcony and rooms in the Royal Palm Tree Court have a large sit-out balcony or terrace.
A children’s club - the Peaco Club - is open daily; the resort also has a playground, children’s and toddlers’ pool and a babysitting service is available on request. There are seven restaurants including oriental, a steakhouse, Italian, international buffet and 24 hour room service. There are nine bars and a weekly summer disco plus nightly entertainment. Refurbishment and Building Work:
The Club Jourmana Sports Café and marina pavements will undergo light refurbishments from mid May until approximately 10 July.
An extension of 76 new luxury units is being built on the western border of the Palm Tree Court & Spa. The extension project is scheduled to start in July 2008 and will take place between the hours of 10am and 5:30pm. The affected area will be screened off to minimize any disturbance. Completion date is not yet known.

Dubai - Construction Update.
For Dubai to continue its ongoing development there is construction throughout this Emirate. The land view/ marina/ lagoon view rooms in Dubai’s beach hotels are facing different levels of construction and some noise can be expected. From Sea facing rooms there may be construction visible on the Palm Island from most beach hotels, with minimum noise disruption. Within the resorts there is little disruption and holiday makers have been able to enjoy their beach holidays. Whilst the hotels do their best to allocate rooms where construction/ noise will be at the minimum, no complaints due to construction will be entertained regarding sea facing or land facing rooms.. The Burj Dubai area is also rapidly being completed with the Burj Dubai tower now standing at over 160 floors. Road works are also underway throughout Dubai in order to improve the flow of traffic. The Dubai Metro project is well underway and work on this project is visible throughout Dubai. Other projects will continue to unfold as Dubai races ahead. When visiting Dubai, you will be witnessing first hand development and growth of this world class destination.
