On the beach, just 25 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport, the impressive Jumeirah Beach Hotel stands 26 storeys high and offers a wealth of facilities and amenities for all guests. There are also beach restaurants, and nightclub. The 4 swimming pools: leisure pool (main pool) features a walk in Jacuzzi, chilled plunge pool and submerged airbeds amongst other features. A swim-up pool bar is located at the shallow end of the pool. The family pool is surfaced in synthetic rubber material and the pool has a walk in 'beach' effect at one end and a rock wall incorporating a water slide at the other end. Adjacent to the family pool is a shallow children's pool, ideally located right next door to Sinbad's Children's Club. It is also rubber surfaced, shaded and contains water play equipment. The fourth pool is a 25-metre lap training pool overlooked by a seating terrace on one side. There are 7 tennis courts, the health suite incorporates 2 saunas, 3 hot tubs, 2 massage rooms, a group fitness room and a 400 metre fully equipped gymnasium. There are 3 sandy beaches with butler service, plunge pool, golf driving range, an adventure playground (closed in summer due to the heat), 26 shops and boutiques including a pharmacy, and various water sports.
Sinbad's - The Children's Club The Children's Club has been designed as a ship and is located next to the family pool. The Children's Club offers a programme of activities for ages 4-12 and is run by a team of highly trained and qualified staff. Children aged between 2 and 4 can also attend the club from 8am to 12 noon, unaccompanied. The Club opens from 8am to 8pm and includes a ground floor activity room and nappy changing
room.
Refurbishment works:
From 14 April the Italian restaurant, Carnevale will close for refurbishment for 6 weeks. The new design will represent the classic looks of Venice with Italian elegance.
From 27 May, the Argentinean restaurant, La Parilla will close for 6 weeks to recreate a South American colonial style restaurant.
The works will not involve structure or hard finishes; only the interior design of the restaurant areas. Disruption to guests will be kept to a minimum. Any noise will be limited to between the hours of 10am and 6pm. For more information please visit

Please note that the Sinbad’s Kids Club at Jumeirah Beach Hotel will be closed for refurbishment from 1 July until 30 September 08. The new Sinbad’s Kids Club will be three times larger and be built in line with British Childcare Standards.

programme.

Dubai - Construction Update.
For Dubai to continue its ongoing development there is construction throughout this Emirate. The land view/ marina/ lagoon view rooms in Dubai’s beach hotels are facing different levels of construction and some noise can be expected. From Sea facing rooms there may be construction visible on the Palm Island from most beach hotels, with minimum noise disruption. Within the resorts there is little disruption and holiday makers have been able to enjoy their beach holidays. Whilst the hotels do their best to allocate rooms where construction/ noise will be at the minimum, no complaints due to construction will be entertained regarding sea facing or land facing rooms.. The Burj Dubai area is also rapidly being completed with the Burj Dubai tower now standing at over 160 floors. Road works are also underway throughout Dubai in order to improve the flow of traffic. The Dubai Metro project is well underway and work on this project is visible throughout Dubai. Other projects will continue to unfold as Dubai races ahead. When visiting Dubai, you will be witnessing first hand development and growth of this world class destination.
