Arabic for ‘Harbour of Peace’, Mina A’Salam is a expansive boutique hotel that forms the gateway to the largest resort in the emirate. Al Muna

Tranquil and picturesque alfresco experiences can be enjoyed from Al Muna’s terrace with views of the freshwater waterways where abras and dhows float by serenely, giving it an Arabian-style “Venice” feel. Its regional menu mostly celebrates the Arabian style and tradition although there are international options on offer.

Al Samar Lounge

The Al Samar Lounge is the perfect for mid-afternoon breaks to socialise and recuperate over Afternoon Teas which is seen as an important tradition in the Middle East. Al Fayrooz Lounge

Al Fayrooz has been awarded the Best Afternoon Tea by the Time Out Dubai Restaurants Awards 2014. The custom of the English Afternoon Tea began in the 19th Century now has continuity at Al Fayrooz so that visitors may enjoy the tradition into the 21st Century. Khaymat Al Bahar

This beach-facing restaurant is open all day and night for breakfast, lunch and dinner set within Bedouin-style tenting. International cuisine is available from the grill and seafood menu. Perry & Blackwelder’s Original Smokehouse

Perry & Blackwelder’s gave Duabi it’s first and original smokehouse has its roots from America’s Deep South barbecue heritage. A mouthwatering selection of slow-cooked fall-off-the-bone BBQ meats using closely-guarded recipes gives diners a delightful menu of authentic BBQ fare.

MJ’s Steakhouse

Located within the Madinat waterways offering views of the Arabian Gulf and an impressive list of more than 400 wines, their expert sommeliers to assist you on making the best pickings. Dark woods and crimson velvets dominate its interior throughout, this five-starred Agency wine bar makes for the perfect base for socialising after a long day.

Al Hambra

With its family-style setting and lively atmosphere this colourful waterfront Spanish eatery feels homey. On the menu are generous platters of tapas, calamari rings, king prawns, chicken and rabbit paella and more – all served on flamboyant crockery.

Every Friday between 12:30 to 16:00 Mina A’Salam offers its guests a huge buffet spread across three venues – Al Muna offering international and seafood choices, Zheng He’s for modern Chinese and Tortuga providing Mexican fare. There is also a separate children’s area with its own buffet and entertainment and children under 4 years old eat free making this a great-value occasion for the family.

The Friday Brunch At Al Qasr

Every Friday between 12:30 to 16:00 Al Qasr Hotel offers its guests a sumptuous buffet with live cooking stations spread across three venues – Al Habra offering traditional Spanish fare, Arboretum for international cuisine, and MJ’s Steakhouse providing the carnivores with delightful meats. There is a band offering live entertainment and children under the age of 4 years eat on a complimentary basis making this a great-value occasion for the family.
